Venda®

The World's leading eCommerce platform provider

Venda is an on-demand, software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform delivering eCommerce and multi-channel retail solutions to customers worldwide. Dan Wagner devised the concept for Venda in 1998 as a subsidiary of MAID and funded the research into creating the world's first shared platform for eCommerce.

Venda is a profitable and privately held pioneer of cloud-based (SaaS) commerce solutions. Since 2001, Venda has delivered more customer sites and transactions to world-leading retailers and manufacturers than any other provider. Over the past decade, Venda has evolved from a best-in-class eCommerce provider into a globally recognized provider of comprehensive end-to-end multi-channel commerce solutions. While Venda's capabilities and reach have grown, the mission is still "to drive our customer's revenues, minimize their costs and maximize their ROI."

Venda is now the global market leader in SaaS eCommerce and runs the eCommerce solutions for hundreds of the world's leading manufacturers and retailers including Laura Ashley, TK Maxx, Tesco, the British Museum, BBC, France Telecom, Universal Music Group, Royal Mail Group, Condé Nast and many others.

In May 2000, Dan Wagner acquired the Boo.com technology assets and merged it into the Venda platform.
